We’re thrilled to inform you that your home is almost ready for the market. The last step is to have professional photos taken, which we will schedule a few days in advance and will take approximately 1-2 hours, depending on the size of your home. The best part? We cover all costs associated with the photography.
We have some pro tips to help ensure that your photos come out great! First, please remove any cats or dogs from the home or place them in a crate during the appointment. You should also hide any pet beds, bowls, toys, and other items that could detract from your home’s appearance. Additionally, make sure your bed is made and put away all dishes. Turn on all lights and check that light bulbs, especially those in lamps, are working properly.
To prepare for your professional photo appointment, we suggest taking photos of your home beforehand using a camera or smartphone. If a room looks too cluttered in these photos, consider decluttering it even more before our photographer arrives.
During the appointment itself, our photographer may move some things around to get the best shots possible. While we always do our very best to put everything back where it belongs afterward, please don’t be surprised if you come home to find a few things out of place.
We often take photographs of nearby amenities such as parks or playgrounds so potential buyers can see what’s available in the neighborhood. If there’s anything specific you’d like us to photograph, just let us know!
Once the professional photos are returned to us (which typically takes about 48 hours), we’ll activate your listing in the MLS and your property will be live on the market for everyone to see!
