It’s November, next time you blink; it will be Thanksgiving Day!
The day some of us look forward to all year long. My stretchy pants (read: eating pants) are ready for the big day!
We thought it would be fun to ask our agents what their favorite Thanksgiving Day food was. We hope you enjoy getting to know our agents just a little bit better!
Catherine Coats told us that her favorite Thanksgiving Day food is Homemade Rolls. As if homemade bread wasn’t enticing enough, she shared that she had a recipe from her Great Great Aunt! Catherine was sweet enough to share a picture of the recipe with us so that you can try it yourself! Let us know if you try it out!
Nicole Epps shared that her favorite Thanksgiving Day food is Cornbread Dressing. Here’s what she had to say about her Maw Maw’s Cornbread Dressing: “My Cajun Maw-maw, who was my whole heart and could cook that good old soul food like no other taught me how to make her cornbread dressing. The recipe is tough to share because it involves a little bit of this and a dash of that. I know the exact consistency the dressing should be before it goes in the oven but can’t give you exact measurements on how to get it there, lol! She would finish it off with a thin gravy made from the turkey drippings. Omg, it’s one of those things that feels like home and makes my soul happy just to smell it cooking!”

Jay Jones shared that he looks forward to a Honey Baked Ham every year for Thanksgiving Dinner. “As a kid, I always looked forward to a honey baked ham! It was a tradition in our house. It tastes so good, and leftovers are amazing. Always loved leftover ham sandwiches for days. I would rather have a honey baked ham over turkey any day!!”
You can always order your Honey Baked Ham from the Honey Baked Ham Store or we also hear the Wal-Mart brand is pretty tasty!
Farrah Piazza shared her favorite, and she loves a good Corn Pudding. Is it Corn Casserole? Or Corn Pudding? Who cares, it’s delicious! She uses a Pinterest recipe, and there are never any leftovers!
Here is the recipe she uses: https://bubbapie.com/easy-corn-pudding-casserole/
Kristina Cusick‘s favorite Thanksgiving food is Pumpkin Pie. If you know Kristina, you know she is a Pumpkin Spice Addict and may need an intervention at some point. It has been rumored that she makes a pumpkin pie for the guests and one for herself! We asked her about her recipe and she told us that she uses the recipe off the Libby’s Pumpkin Puree can because that’s what her Mema always used.
